Appredir URL Blocker
Privacy Policy
Appredir URL Blocker is a browser extension that blocks top-level navigations that match URL patterns configured by the user.
Information We Collect
Appredir URL Blocker does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information, browsing history, website content, or analytics data with the developer or any third party.
Information Stored Locally
The extension stores the list of blocked URL patterns that the user creates or edits. This information is stored using the browser's extension storage APIs so the extension can apply the blocking rules.
This stored configuration remains within the browser's extension storage environment and is not sent to external servers by the extension.
How the Extension Uses Permissions
-
declarativeNetRequest: used to create browser-managed blocking rules based on the saved URL patterns. -
storage: used to save and update the user's blocked URL patterns. -
<all_urls>host access: required so the extension can apply user-configured blocking rules across the URLs the user chooses to block.
Remote Services
The extension does not use a remote backend, analytics platform, ad network, or third-party tracking service.
Data Sharing
No data is shared with the developer or with third parties by the extension.
Children's Privacy
The extension is not designed to collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated if the extension's functionality or data practices change. Any updates will be reflected on this page by changing the effective date above.
